Thank you very much for stopping by and seeing what we have instore for the nation of Uganda.
As you know, with the help of Parliamentary input, we have created a very exciting program, one that we are excited to share with you, upon request. As a first of its kind start up anywhere, we are proud to have you here helping us open our office and roll out the concept for the people of Uganda.
Normally, we will have events planned and posted at least 3 months in advance and presented to the appropriate authorities for review and approval. All events will be by reservation, and lunch will be paid for by the attendee. In a nutshell, here is what we have planned for the next 6 weeks:
Starting immediately, we will start booking locations for events and inviting educators to attend
Our first seminars will be held April 18 and 19 and April 28 and 29
Our goal here is to train 350 people during this period
The locations are be determined
These events will allow us to find 7 – 10 prospective educators who are talented enough to train others. Our goal is to hire 2 at the end of a designated period and some requirements. This will not only allow us to keep our promise to you to create jobs, but allow us to put on more seminars, thus hopefully finding more seminar leaders
We will also start ordering “supplies” and establishing storage facilities. We hope to have supplies delivered within 6 8 weeks, depending on the product, location, cost and method of delivery
Fundraising, locally, nationally and internationally
Our May Calendar will see events scheduled on the following dates:
May 2, 3 and 6
May 9, 10 and 13
May 16, 17 and 20
May 23, 24 and 27
May 30 and 31
We expect to train 1,400 people while finding 2 people at each seminar who we can possibly train.
During this time, we will also be conducting a variety of activities, from establishing our quarterly events calendar to training speaking staff and producing instructional material in Swahili and Luganda.
